En la lección de hoy, vamos a ver de otra maneras los verbos “love” y “hate”. En esta ocasión, hay unas expresiones que se utilizan mucho en inglés para describir “me encanta cómo…”, “me encanta cuando…” y los antónimos “odio cómo…” y “odio cuando…”. Expresiones que se utilizan constantemente en la lengua inglesa.
Veamos cual es su equivalencia en inglés:
- Me encanta cómo.. – I love the way…
Ejemplos:
I love the way he sings when he’s taking a shower.
I love the way you lie. (Cómo cierta canción)
- Me encanta cuando… – I love it when…
Ejemplos:
I love it when when he sings when he’s taking a shower.
I love it when you lie.
Por el contrario tenemos:
- Odio cómo… – I hate the way…
Ejemplos:
I hate the way he sings when he’s taking a shower.
I hate the way you lie.
- Odio cuando… – I hate it when
Ejemplos:
I hate it when he sings when he’s taking a shower.
I hate it when you lie.
En este caso, no olvidéis que hay que incluir la partícula “it” antes de decir cuando/when.
