Verbos Modales

Los verbos modales carecen de infinitive y Past Participle, poseen una sola forma para todas las personas y se emplean siempre con un verbo pleno en infinitivo.

She can sing                                                                    (ella) puede cantar

She cannot (can´t) sing                                             (ella) no puede cruzar

She could sing                                                                (ella) podia cantar

She could not (couldn´t ) sing                                (ella) no podia cantar

She may sing                                                                    puede que (ella) cante

She may not sing                                                            puede que (ella) no cante)

She might sing                                                                podría ser que (ella) cantara

She might (mightn´t)  not sing                                 podría ser que (ella) no cantara

She must sing                                                                  (ella) debe cantar

She does not (doesn´t) have to sing                      (ella) no tiene que cantar

She must not (musn´t) sing                                       (ella) no debe cantar

She need not (needn´t) sing                                     no es necesario que (ella) cante

She should sing                                                               (ella) debería cantar

She should not (shouldn´t) sing                             (ella) no debería cantar

She will sing                                                                     (ella) cantará

She would sing                                                               (ella) cantaría

Shall she go shopping?                                                 ¿Debe (ella) ir a comprar?
