Buscar pelea deliberadamente.

Throw down the gauntlet
Lanzar un desafío formal.
«She threw down the gauntlet to her critics today.»

Cross swords
Cruzar espadas (discutir).
«They’d crossed swords numerous times in Parliament over this issue.»
At each other’s throats
Estar a la greña / Al cuello del otro.
«Tom and Ben were at each other’s throats the whole time.»
Sparks fly
Saltan chispas (tensión evidente).
