“Prod” es un verbo en inglés que significa “estimular o incitar a alguien a hacer algo” o “dar un golpecito o un toque ligero a alguien o algo.” Se puede usar tanto en contextos literales como figurativos. En español, se podría traducir como “estimular”, “incitar” o “animar”. Por ejemplo, “She prodded him to ask for a raise” se podría traducir como “Ella lo animó a pedir un aumento.”
