Usos de “There be”

En la lección de hoy vamos a ver cómo se utiliza la partícula “there + be”. En este caso, utilizamos “there + be” para hablar sobre la existencia de algo.

Para ello, tenemos que tener en cuenta que el sujeto real se sitúa después del verbo.

 

Ejemplo:

  • There is a pencil. (Hay un lápiz.)

 

“There + be” se puede expresar en todos los  tiempos  verbales.  También tenemos que fijarnos que algunos tiempos tienen una conjugación diferente para el singular y el plural.
