«Computers run more quickly than in the past.»
Adverbios Superlativos
«Rick and Morty danced the most brilliantly.»
Reglas esenciales de formación
Adverbios largos (2+ sílabas o terminados en -ly)
- Maria read the text more quickly than Sussana.
- She visits me more often than she used to.
- This machine works most efficiently of all.
- Sales are growing the most slowly.
Adverbios cortos (1 sílaba)
Como: hard, fast, straight, late.
«My mum works harder than my dad.»
«Maxie won because he ran fastest at the end.»
¡Cuidado! Formas Irregulares
| Adverbio | Comparativo | Superlativo |
|---|---|---|
| Well (Good) | Better than | (the) Best |
| Badly (Bad) | Worse than | (the) Worst |
• Dolphins can swim better than people.
• Mar speaks French best of all the students.
• This car performs worst in our tests.
«After a while, the savage began to blow less forcefully.»
¿Cuándo usar ‘The’?
«Sales are growing the most slowly in this economy.»
