Carry On es un phrasal verb que se usa a menudo. Su principal significado es el de “continuar haciendo algo”. Por lo que, en general, su uso está bastante generalizado en el mundo anglosajón. Es un phrasal verb separable.

Unos ejemplos:

  • During the football match Messi hurt his leg. He tried to carry on, but it soon got worse so he had to go off.
  • You can carry on with a sport as long as you feel comfortable.
  • I will carry on my job during summer as I did last year.
